Which brokers work with AI Investing?

A2Group Research7 min read

If you already have an account somewhere, the first question is simple: does this app work with my broker? AI Investing Pro links brokerage accounts read-only through SnapTrade, so the analysis runs on the positions you actually hold. Here is the current coverage, how the connection is governed, and what it deliberately cannot do.

Short answer

  • AI Investing connects read-only to 25 brokerages and 3 crypto exchanges as of 2026-07-22. Coverage is provided by SnapTrade and changes over time.
  • The read-only broker link is an AI Investing Pro feature. Manual portfolio tracking is available on the free plan.
  • The broker sign-in happens inside SnapTrade’s hosted portal; login details and one-time security codes are not passed on to A2GROUP LLC.
  • A small number of simulated paper-trading endpoints are also linkable; they are not retail brokerages and are not included in these counts.
  • Read-only means viewing and analysis only. Your assets remain at your broker. Informational only; not personalized investment advice.

Currently supported connections (as of 2026-07-22)

As of 2026-07-22, AI Investing connects read-only to 25 brokerages and 3 crypto exchanges. Geographically that spans North America, the UK and Europe, plus Australia and India. The names most people arrive looking for are Robinhood, Vanguard, Webull, Wealthsimple Trade and Questrade; Coinbase, Binance and Kraken connect as crypto exchanges rather than brokerages. Coverage is provided by SnapTrade and changes — the list inside the app is always the current one.

A handful of simulated paper-trading endpoints appear in the picker as well. They are testing environments rather than retail brokerages, so they sit outside the counts above.

What happens to your credentials

What we hold is an access secret issued to us by SnapTrade, kept encrypted on our own servers — it is not your broker password, and it carries no ability to trade, because the app has no order-placement path.

The full mechanism — what SnapTrade handles on its side, what we store, and how the read-only constraint is enforced — is documented on the A2GROUP brokerage connectivity page.

Supported, not supported, and the case in between

Check before you install: the list inside the app is authoritative and is visible before you pay for Pro. It is the one that reflects what SnapTrade currently supports, and it is the one to trust if this page and the app ever disagree.

There are three outcomes. Your broker connects, and holdings sync in read-only. Your broker is not currently connectable, in which case manual portfolio tracking on the free plan is the fallback and every analysis feature still works. Or — the case that actually generates support tickets — your broker’s name is supported but your particular account is not the same entity behind it.

That third case is concrete in our own coverage. Webull and Webull Canada are separate connections; picking the wrong one fails at authorization even though the brand name matches. The same split applies wherever a broker also exposes a simulated paper environment: that entry is a separate connection, it is a testing account rather than a brokerage, and it is not counted in the totals on this page.

If a broker is not named, read that as not currently connectable rather than as an omission on our part.

What linking actually gives you on a phone

The link is not the feature; what the phone screen can then show is. Taxable, retirement and a crypto exchange balance arrive as one total, cash included — which for most people is the first time the whole number has been on one screen.

Cost basis and holding period come from the account rather than from memory, so unrealized gain or loss is a figure you can take to your own tax advisor instead of one you retyped. It is a description of what you already own, not a suggestion about what to do with it.

And after the initial authorization there is no upkeep. Manual trackers get abandoned because updating them is a chore; the value of a synced book is the two-hundredth check, not the first.

On the phone specifically, that changes three surfaces: the holdings view shows real weights instead of a list, the daily outlook is weighted to the positions you hold, and news and Morning Brief relevance is ranked by what is actually in the account.

One total, every account

Taxable, retirement and exchange balances summed on one screen — including the cash position, which manual lists rarely record.

Cost basis as a fact

Imported from the account, so unrealized gain or loss and holding period are descriptive, not re-typed.

Zero upkeep

Nothing to maintain after the initial authorization, which is the difference between a tracker you use once and one you still use in six months.

If your broker is not on the list

Coverage changes over time, and the in-app list is always the current one — the names above are accurate as of 2026-07-22. If your broker is not there yet, AI Investing still works: you can build and track a portfolio manually on the free plan, and every analysis feature works without connecting an account at all.

We list only what is actually supported. If a broker is not named on this page, assume it is not currently connectable rather than reading it as an omission.

The same connection on desktop

If you research at a desk rather than on a phone, Cala Terminal is the desktop surface on the same engine, with the same read-only link.

The short version

Read-only means viewing and analysis only. Your assets remain at your broker. Informational only; not personalized investment advice.

FAQ

Does AI Investing work with Robinhood?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22, on the AI Investing Pro plan. Robinhood positions and cash appear in the mobile holdings view and are included in the daily outlook weighting. Individual and retirement accounts held there come through as separate accounts on the same screen.

Does AI Investing work with Interactive Brokers?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22. Because IBKR accounts often hold more than one currency, the phone shows each position with its listing venue and currency rather than collapsing everything into one number — the totals line then makes clear how much of the book is not in your home currency.

Can AI Investing read my Vanguard portfolio?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22. Vanguard books are usually fund-heavy, so the mobile holdings view is most useful for what the fund names hide: real weights and how much the funds overlap once look-through is applied.

Does AI Investing work with E-Trade?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22. Cost basis and holding period come through with the positions, so the unrealized gain or loss shown on the phone is imported from the account rather than typed by you.

Does AI Investing work with Webull?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22 — but Webull and Webull Canada are two separate connections in the picker. Choose the one matching the entity your account is actually held with; picking the other fails at authorization even though the brand name matches.

Can I connect Wealthsimple Trade to AI Investing?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22. Canadian users typically hold registered and non-registered accounts side by side; both come through as separate accounts and are summed into one total on the phone, cash included.

Does AI Investing work with Questrade?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22. Registered and non-registered Questrade accounts arrive separately and can be viewed together, which is the part a manual list on a phone almost never keeps straight.

Does AI Investing work with Trading 212?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22. Where a broker also offers a simulated practice environment, that shows up as its own entry in the picker; it is a testing account rather than a brokerage, so it stays outside the supported-brokerage total and its balances are labelled as simulated.

Can I connect DEGIRO to AI Investing?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22. EU-listed positions come through with their listing venue and currency, so the phone can show what share of the book sits outside your home currency rather than converting it away silently.

Does AI Investing work with eToro?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22. Balances and positions are displayed in the mobile holdings view; the connection carries data in only, and nothing you do in AI Investing changes anything in the eToro account.

Does AI Investing work with Zerodha?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22, as is Upstox for Indian accounts. Holdings appear in the same mobile view as any other account, and news relevance on the phone is ranked against those positions.

Can I connect Coinbase to AI Investing?

Yes, as of 2026-07-22 — as an exchange rather than a brokerage, as are Binance and Kraken. Exchange balances are summed into the same phone total as your brokerage accounts, which is usually the first time the crypto share of the whole book is visible.

What if my broker is not supported?

You can still track holdings manually on the free plan, and every analysis feature works without linking an account. Coverage is provided by SnapTrade and changes over time, so the list inside the app is always the current one.
